Day 6: Fave Superhero and Why

I used to love X-Men back in the day. I loved watching the cartoons. In middle school, I borrowed a friend's X-Men trading cards, photocopied them, made my own and used my photocopies as references for drawing. (I used to be pretty good at that!) Anyways, I digress...

My favorite of all of them had to be Wolverine. Mainly because he was B.A. I love his free spirit and no nonsense attitude. He kicks butt!

Day 5: A picture of somewhere you've been to

I love this picture. But I love this place even more. This is Waikiki and downtown Honolulu from the top of Diamond Head. I'm sure many people have a similar shot that they've taken, but this pic means so much more to us. It was taken during my first trip ever--and our first trip together as a couple--to Hawaii. (Did I mention that we want to live here?) We miss this place. EVERY. DAY. This place is magical. ::sigh::

Since we can't be there in person right now, I turned this picture into a huge mosaic mural in our music nook. (As seen from this post) It's a wonderful reminder of a place we long for.

Enough said! HA! I procrastinate way too much. Which is probably another reason why I took this blog challenge! It'll force me to blog every day and not procrastinate like usual! Do you have any habits you wish you didn't have?

Day 2: The Meaning of Your Blog Name

I credit our blog name to my clever husband! Last year, fresh after our engagement, I told him that I'd like to start a blog, but I didn't have a name picked out. I wanted this blog to be a great way for our friends and family to know what's going on with us and (at the time) our wedding non-planning. Even though I we weren't married then, we'd already dubbed ourselves "The Weas," since W-E-A are the first 3 letters of (my soon-to-be) our last name. So he, being the witty man that I love so much, came up with Two Weas in a Pod. Right on the spot! So here "Wea" are, over a year later!

So here I go! Day numero uno! On your mark... get set... GO!

Fifteen random facts about yours truly: 1. This photo of me was taken using La Photocabine. It's hours of fun if you love photobooths. 2. I love photobooths. 3. I'm a crafter and DIY-er. 4. I (and my husband) am obsessed with Hawaii. 5. We're working on moving there. (God willing!) 6. I'm a graphic designer and I work from home. 7. I could probably live off of lumpias, spam musubis, loco mocos, and boba. 8. I'm the proud wife of a firefighter. ♥ 9. I like quoting movies. 10. I have a small collection of cameras that I would like to add to. 11. I need to draw more. 12. I'm ready to watch my husband graduate from paramedic school tomorrow night. 13. I'm ready to celebrate this weekend! 14. I love seeing how God is working through my life and the lives of those I love. 15. I'm thirty-one today!
