Thirty Days of Me - Day 10

Day 10: Songs you listen to when you are Happy, Sad, Hyped, Mad

(Source)

Wow! This is a tough one, since I listen to A LOT of different music. I don't have any particular "happy," "sad," "hyped," or "mad" songs--I just love music in general! I don't even know if I can narrow it down, but here goes!
My [Go-to] Songs:
American Girl - Tom Petty
What She Really Needs - Ekolu
Born to be My Baby - Bon Jovi
Summer of '69 - Bryan Adams
Let it Be - The Beatles
Clocks - Coldplay
Amber - 311
Is This Love - Bob Marley
Somewhere Over the Rainbow - Israel Kamakawiwo'ole
The Road that Never Ends - Keali'i Riechel
Honestly - Ekolu
So High - John Legend
Seriously - Katchafire
You and I - Natural Vibrations
Bang the Skillet - Go Jimmy Go
Only Hope - Switchfoot

But, man! The list could possibly go on and on... What are your go-to songs?

Thirty Days of Me - Day 9

Day 9: Something You're Proud of in the Past Few Days

I'm pretty extremely proud of this man. This past Thursday, my husband graduated from paramedic school! (Yeah, he's a pretty big deal. hee hee) =) All his hard work and sacrifices that we had to make for the past 10 and a half months have paid off. I couldn't have asked for a better birthday present. I thank God every day for helping the hubs through all of this. And I know the He will guide him through his upcoming national and state licensing exams.

So proud of you, babe! I love you!

Thirty Days of Me - Day 8

Day 8: Short-term Goals for this month and why

1. SAVE MONEY! Because we spend way too much... This NEEDS to be a long-term goal, too!
2. Eat out less, eat in more. For the above reason.
3. Craft and sew more. Simply because I enjoy it and I need to improve my sewing skills.
4. Finish my JFAC entries. Because I never finish what I start and I want to get out of that habit.
5. Follow-through with 30 Days of me. For the same reason as #4.

What about you? What are your goals for this month?

Thirty Days of Me - Day 7

Day 7: A Picture of Someone/Something That Has the Biggest Impact on You
I couldn't think of anyone having any bigger impact on me than this man. This is my dad, back in the day, from his days at the Philippine Heart Center.

I miss this smile and laughter more than anything in the world.
